There are 23 terrestrial national parks and 4 marine national
parks, making a total of 27 national parks.
The number of terrestrial national reserves is 28 while there
are 5 marine national reserves, making 33 national reserves
in total. In 2005, Kenya received a total of 2,133,452 visitors
to the national parks and reserves.
